The exposition was born in 1976 thanks to Manlio Menaglia's idea who wanted to reintroduce and reinforce the typical italian tradition of nativity scene and also he wanted to encourage the spread ,of this tradition, to citizens and tourists in Rome during Chritmas time.
In the exposition, the visitors can analyze knowledge about nativyti scene art even in its constuctive and stylistic implications.
Exposition setting under Alto Patronato del Presidente della Repubblica and this edition is a part of events set up for Giubileo della Misericordia.
