The collection of Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest showed into Museum of Ara Pacis in Rome

With approximatly 170 works from Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest , cames to Ara Pacis Museum in Rome a big exhibition about of Touluse-Lautrec, bohémien painter of the late nineteenth century Paris,that retrace the painter life from 1891 to 1900, before his death at only 36 years.

The exibition, promoted by Assessorato alla Cultura e allo Sport di Roma – Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali- is produced by Arthemisia Group and organized with Zètema Progetto Cultura and it will consent to bring in Rome the flower collection of works of Toulouse-Lautrec that is reserved into Budapest Museum of Fine Arts (Szépm vészeti Múzeum), one of the most important in Europe, with masterpieces from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century.
For the roman exhibitions, curated by Zsuzsa Gonda and Kata Bodor, about 170 litographies of the collection (which 8 are big affiches and 2 are albums cover of the singer, actress and writer french Yvette Guilbert with some 10 litographies) that will leave Budapest to be exposed at Ara Pacis Museum from 4th December 2015 to 8 May 2016.

Thank to this exhibition will be possible to know fully the work of Toulouse-Lautrec: posters, illustrations, sheet music covers and posters, some of which are rarities because printed in limited editions, signed and enumerated and accompanied by the dedication of the artist.
