From 27 November 2015 to 30 March 2016, the MACRO – Museum of Contemporary Arts Rome- exposed the exhibition about Gillo Dorfles " Being in Time "; edited by Achille Bonito Oliva, the scientific coordination and project construction by Fulvio Caldarelli with Maurizio Rossi. The first exhibition to pay tribute to the Dorfler's complete work who is considered the father of italian figurative culture.
More than 100 works, some of which exposed for the first time : portraits, drawings and grafic works and also a selection of ceramics and jewelry. An unreleased across the time, from the creations most recent , the fondation of the Movement of Concrete Art, and also to early works of the thirties
For the first time, the exposition is complete of two sections which become an occasion to recall one century of story, between word and immagine.
Istantaneo is the documentary selection that includes a photographic collection and an unreleased collection about correspondences between Dorfles and some artists important in the twentieth century.
